The Farvie Grenache represents the very finest expression possible of Grenache from the Swinney vineyard in Frankland River.
Named after George (Farvie) John Alexander Swinney who settled in the Frankland area in 1922, there is no time or expense spared in crafting this cuveé. The finest parts of the vineyard have been identified over the last 20 years, with those portions being hand-picked over multiple passes for this wine. Only the best bunches make the cut, with a 12% addition of Mourvèdre. Only the finest large format oak.
It's a wine that has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons of Australia's wine media. Since its debut release in 2018 it has quickly risen to the top echelon of Australian Grenache.
