From a Tuscan vintage that bestowed silkiness, elegance and surprising freshness, the 2020 is a gorgeously pure and vibrant Chianti that speaks loudly of the Florentine hills. Expect a succulent, medium-bodied palate packed with a smack of morello cherry and cool, blue fruits together with crushed violets, white pepper and a swish of sweet Mediterranean herbs. There's ample flow of red berry fruit but this is balanced by racy, energetic acidity and a nip of lithe Pinot-like tannin.
